Important Information
  • Remember to bring your all-important bib to the race. The timing tag is attached to your bib. Do not bend your bib in any way or it will damage the timing tag.
  • Please be mindful of runners running close to you or next to you. Please do not jostle or shove.
  • Follow the course. Any deviation could result in your timing not getting recorded or worse, result in disqualification.
  • Please ensure you cross the timing mats wherever installed across the course. Not crossing the timing mat may result in your timing not being recorded.
  • Drink adequate amount of fluids. Water stations are provided along the course. Please use them. Volunteers and race marshals are available along the route in case you need any assistance.
  • There will be mobile toilets available along the course, and their locations are marked on the route map. Out of respect for the local residents and businesses we would ask you to use these and not a handy bush or tree.
  • We accept that you need to discard water bottles and paper cups. In consideration for the safety of your fellow runners, use the Waste Disposal Containers provided at the Aid Stations for the used cups or other waste. Try not to litter the road. Do not waste water & other fluids.
  • Slow runners who seem likely to finish beyond the cut off times need to exercise extra caution. They can avail of the sweep vehicle which will be following the slow runners, to reach the finish point. The organizers of Hyderabad Marathon 2017 will not be responsible for for any risk incidents caused by slow runners not adhering to the guidelines and safe running practices.

Terms and Conditions of Participation

  • Registration for the Event shall not be transferrable to any other participant. Registration charges shall not be refunded should participant not be able to participate for any reason whatsoever.
  • Participation in the Event is subject to confirmation of registration. Should the registration not be approved for any reason, the registration charges shall be refunded after deduction of 2.3% processing fees.
  • Should the event be cancelled due to unfavorable weather conditions; public disturbances; Acts of public authorities or other unforeseen reasons and circumstances, the Registration fee or any other costs associated with participation shall not be transferable or refunded.
  • Event Organisers shall provide T-shirts in accordance with the sizes indicated in the Registration form on a best-efforts basis. Should however, the indicated sizes not be available at the time of Bib collection, Event Organisers shall not be liable for any refund of Registration charges or part thereof.
  • For participants under the age of 18, Registration is treated as provisional and will be confirmed subject to the Participant Disclaimer Form being signed by the Parent/ Guardian and send a scanned copy to info@marathonhyderabad.com
  • By way of registration for the Event, participants accept that they will receive information (including promotional materials, offers, updates and advertisements) from the Event Sponsors and Organizers.
  • Bib numbers are not transferable and must not be worn by any runner other than the participant to whom that particular Bib is assigned. Bibs should be properly worn and be clearly visible at all times during the Event.

Tips and Guidance

  • You may deposit your baggage in the baggae counter at the start of the race and pick it up at the finish point. Use only those bags which meet the Organizers guidelines. Organizers may reject storing your bag at their discretion. Organizers are not liable for any lost valuable stored with the baggage counter.
  • The Timing Bib should be worn between the Chst & the Waist. It may not be worn on the shorts or on the back.
